Rusplaas Christian Model School(RCMS) is a new millenium institution. It was founded in the year 2000 by three visionaries: viz Mr John M John, Mr Thomas M and Mr Alexander K T. The school was established as a trust, and began with three teachers and fifteen learners.

As time went by RCMS offered tuition from grade 1 up to 5. As the grade 5 learners progressed, a provision was made to the immediate above level(or grade) and so on, till the first grade 12 was offered in 2007.

Since then RCMS has grown formidably to a population of over forty educators and over a thousand learners, and henceforth assummed a status of a comprehensive school with remarkable and/or outstanding output.
