The approved subjects for Grade 10 - 12 are grouped in two main categories.
All learners are required to do four(4) subjects from group A and three(3) from group B.
All in all there are seven(7) subjects to be selected.

GROUP A

1. Two Official Languages at Home and First Additional Level.
1.1 Sepedi Home Language OR English Home Language.
1.2 English First Additional Language OR Sepedi First Additional Language.
2. Mathematics OR Mathematics Literacy.
3. Life Orientation.

GROUP B

Three must be selected from the following offered subjects:
1. Accounting
2. Business Studies
3. Economics
4. Life Sciences
5. Physical Sciences
6. Geography
